SHOKO

Artist. Born in Tokyo, Living in London.
Studied fashion design in Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, and after graduating moved to London and did her BA major in Graphic Design and MA Communication Design both in Central St. Martins College of Art and Design (University of the Arts, London), graduated in 2008. SHOKO's artworks are varied, mostly based on illustrations, photography, installations but has also taken part in performing in poetry readings, using of her skills of a fashion model when she was in her teens. Since her student days, she has been working on some CD jacket cover, Musicians photographic portraits, Illustrations on magazines etc, London Underground poster design, Exhibition graphic design in 2009 etc. In spring/summer 2008, SHOKO joined "agnes b. T-shirt d'artiste" project in France and two of her artworks are printed and producted as T-shirts, sold all over the world. In spring/summer 2010, she works with a new label in agnes b. named "To b. by agnes b." with her artworks.

日本語プロフィール:

アーティスト。東京都出身。ロンドン在住。
文化服装学院卒業後、渡英、セントマーティンズ・ロンドン芸術大学でグラフィックデザイン＆アート
を専攻し卒業後、2008年夏、同大学院コミニュケーションデザイン修士課程修了。
アート作品は、イラスト、写真、インスタレーション、パフォーマンス等様々な表現に及び、
CDジャケットアートワーク、2009年ロンドン地下鉄ポスター、展覧会ポスターデザイン等に携わる。
2008年フランスにてアニエスベー春夏コレクション・アーティストTシャツプロジェクトに参加、
2010年春夏はアニエスベーからのNewライン「To b. by agnes b.」に携わる。
